What is it?
GameRanger is a multiplayer online gaming service. As well as being
Macintosh-only, it is the only service of its kind on the Macintosh.
GameRanger provides a central place for players to meet, chat, and organize
internet games. Some of the features include chat rooms, game rooms, audio
voice chat, paging, instant match-making, player searching, and seamless
game launching.
If the install fails...
If after repeated attempts, the installer fails to complete the install then your proxy servers may not be set up. Contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP) or network administrator to find out if there are any proxy servers that you are required to use. Hold down the Option key while launching the GameRanger Net Install to configure these settings.
